Heartfelt Sympathy

Every year for Christmas, I give my Grandma a batch of handmade cards.  It's something she enjoys and can use.  This is one of the cards that I came up with for her. -- She uses more Sympathy cards (unfortunately) than a baby card or wedding card.  I typically give her mostly birthday, sympathy and thank you cards.

For this one, I used the new Birthday Bouquet DSP for the background. (Available Jan. 5th)  The soft colors in this DSP made it perfect to use on a sympathy card.

The rest of the card was quite simple.  I embossed the sentiment in gold which gave it a beautiful touch.  I added some baker's twine - in Blushing Bride - which is retired.

Hope you enjoyed today's card!
