So Very Grateful - Spring Trends

Tomorrow is spring!  And today's card screams spring!!!

Hip. Hip. Hooray!

This one was fun to create.  I started out with the So Very Grateful stamp set and some watercolor paper.  I stamped the image with Stazon ink, and then watercolored with my ink pads and an Aqua Painter.

Then I stamped the sentiment from Four You, again with Stazon ink.

What you might not see in the picture above is the fun part of this card.

Can you tell what I did in the photo below?

Maybe this photo shows it better:

I used the Chevron stamp and inked it up with Versamark, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Doesn't that give this a fun look?  I'm kinda smitten with it!  Would love to know what you think....leave me some comments!~~~~

Meanwhile - I'd also like to add that I'm submitting this to a couple of online challenges -
1) The Paper Players - Clean & Simple Spring.
2) Freshly Made Sketches - for the sketch.
You should check out the challenges and play along!

This is so beautiful! I love that stamped image paired with the black/white polka dot print, and I really love how you clear-embossed the chevron over top of the image. Gorgeous details! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

I love your floral image and the clear embossing over it is fabulous! Certainly a nice little surprise effect! So glad you played with our challenge this week!
